AD is useful insofar it gives an actual depiction of what MIGHT be lurking under the soft fleece of lambs and the charming voice of sirens sitting on the shelves of the WWW/LD/MOB candy store for men to shop in their shopping basket.
Surely, there is a sharp, commodious or devious edge to some of their accusations, but the same can be said about agency propaganda.

Too bad the bulk of the site is in russian, so most men are unable to understand it.

I think too bad it isnt in Russian here so some of the new posters can understand what some of us have been trying to say.

Damn, when you make a post and go to bed after 1 AM and get back up at 7am and turn your computer on and there have been three pages of posts to follow yours I guess if you want to stay involved it is better not to every have to sleep, or work.

First, when I left off we were still talking about socials. I will give you my take on socials. The ones I went to were by EC when they were still doing them.

Personally the big agency socials such as AFA are a very poor choice for anyone. I will say they are well done in some ways but it is not a good way to meet women. For the men the ladies they have to sort through are the worst of the lot in terms of sincerity. There are good ones. They spend a very short time with most of the woman and can only give adaquate time to a very few. The social scene itself is drying up. The tours have pretty well given up on Moscow and St Petersburg and have had to concentrate on the smaller cities. EC has quit doing them all together. I have also heard from a totally reputalble source that the main company that is a big agency has also stooped to a very unsavory thing.

For a woman those tours are not a good thing either. I have heard comments that the women feel like cattle for sale. I have seen women that spend very, very long hours on a train and came there with high hopes only not to have a single man talk to them. Like the sites, the hot ones get all the action. Yes, if a woman is local and just looks at it as something to do for the evening, it is a party and if they go just to have fun then it may not be bad.

The small agency tour I went on was much better done from both the men and women's standpoing. Truthfully I would recommend it to anyone, particularly someone new to the scene that had never been to the FSU as a sort of RW-101. Actually this was last fall and I took my son along hoping to get him involved with FSU woman. Probably for a newbie who had never been it would be a good way to go. Most of the women were local and looked at it as something to do for the night. Also you spent longer times with more women. The one I did was conducted by FirstDream. I do think those tours and some of the others by a small agency are not a bad thing.

OK, now I might or might not rile some feathers here. I don't intend to but we shall see.

I have never shared my own true personal feelings about RW before at least not in this way. I have met a lot of people from all over the world. What I believe is that Russian women are the best in the world. They are also the best in the world at what they do. Russian women who are athletes can be top of thier field. Those who are into the arts and sciences can also be the best. Those who want to be a good wife will make the best wife some men can find. (I said some men because I think not all men are cut out for it.)

However, those who want to be bad can also be the best in the world. Those who want to use a man and have no feelings for him can do it more ruthlessly than any American woman could ever dream of. Those who want to be scammers can excel at it. Those who want to be prositutes will excel at it. Those who want to be nasty will be the nastiest women any guy could encountner. Those who want to be hard headed and opinionated will be the most hopeless discussion any man could find.

My trip report does not have anything to do with the Mein Kampf or anything else. I simply told a story about my trip in Russia and my impressions.

You are incapable of explaining to me or anyone what you find objectionable in my report.

The women that I met in Russia have read my report. They have no problems with it. They did not like me posting their photos. When I removed them they have offered to write good things about me. I can give Kvinna names and phone numbers if she asks me in PM. I will not do this on an open forum.

You need to say what you find objectionable about my trip report. Comparing my trip report with Mein Kampf is far beyond crazy. The men at this forum have read my trip report. None of them would compare it to a Mein Kampf.

Is it so hard for you to simply explain yourself??? You can't do this??? Just say what it is. You can simply make a quote from my words in my trip report and explain how it offends you or others.

Ira...The one thing ringing through in this thread that some guys should take notice if is "The Persistance of a Russian Woman!"

Some of the most difficult converstaions I have had with my wife have revolved around American Humor. She does take thinks very literally, and it can be a very frustrating discussion when she takes things in the wrong context. Nothing can pass as simply being a joke...She will not relent until she fully understands!

A Russian Woman who is truely looking for a real relationship will not be a woman who bows to her mans every whim. She will not take his word as the ultimate authority. I personally think a properly run Social is a good thing. I only attended 1 EC Social and it wasn't a meat market at all. Sure there were bad apples from both sides. There were overbearing men and women.

Most of the guys that were in my group were meeting women they had already been corresponding with. The social is a good avenue for those who are not seasoned travelers.

I met 2 ladies that would have definitly been worth persuing if things had not worked out with my wife and I. I was straight foward with all the other women I met. The 1st thing I told them was that I was there to meet my wife...if things didn't work out between us perhaps we could meet later. My wife also knew I would be attending the Socials before she arrived. I also met quite a few who definitely had motives other than a true relationship.

The biggest delimna I saw some of the other guys going through was who to spend more time with. Some of the guys were overwhelmned! I was so happy I was not going through that.

Bob: To be fair, I don't think Ellen was trying to tell me where to go on this board, I think she was referring to other boards. The AD lot telegraphed their next "Port of call" way upthread if one reads.

The only things that change are the location and the date. When they get told to "Shove it" on one, as they have been recently, they simply move onto the next.
