I just read this and I find it very informative. What do you guys think of this?

This is from the elena's models site. They say on their site that they will provide this for their clients if they are Platinum members.

If you are meeting one lady:

We will help you to organize your meeting in a secure, pleasant and stress-free environment;

We will take care of your lady's travel arrangements - if your lady needs to travel to meet you, you don't need to send her money for travel expenses; our local office in her country will purchase her tickets and ship them to her and book her accommodation. You only pay the actual costs of the tickets and the accommodation. This ensures you won't be scammed for "travel money".

I think you will find it is only certain entry Cities they wil provide this for, maybe where they already have EM offices. Always good to have a Plan B though

And so what? if you are with agood agency, or have a good tranlsator/guide with you then this is the sort of service you should expect. Its normal service, not anything extrodinary.

I Think it's a good idea for those that have not done the legwork and got to know the woman very well before they travel.If you do your home work before you decide to go you would already know the woman and there should be no real surprises when you get there, and you don't need an angency to find that out.

My advice from reading many posts and the mistakes many make, is get to know the woman first before you decide to go visit. DO call her often before you go and you will know if the two of you are matched.

I guess everything will do things the way the feel most comfortable.
They way I would approach it is if I met a woman online from LA and I am in Boston I would still set up any travel arrangements myself. I know it's different when you are in a foreign country but I guess I just don't like middle men.
To me when you get alot of other people involved it might take away from a genuine experience and you don't know her any better than you did before.
I prefer to to go myself and get there myself and take her out myself.
And as far as getting scammed out of travel money, you will know before you even get there if she is a scammer or not. If you aren't sure if she is going to steal from you then why would you want to meet her anyhow?

You are correct .If your girl is serious about you she will not want anyone else around. A interpreter is a last ditch atempt. These women if really interested in you can be very jealous and will not want another women around you, except maybe her Mum.

You will get more brownie points for doing it yourself as it will show her that you trust her. Trust is a real big issue with these women, I kid you not. Go there and you will find out bigtime!!

As for being scammed you will find that out long before you go.

My .02 cents worth but I did marry a beautiful Ukraine woman !

I have to disagree with you a bit about having an interpretor unless you are fluent in Russian or she is fluent in English.

Of course it also depends on the interpretor. I was a lucky because I had an excellent interpretor! She helped us over the humps in misunderstandings over language and culture. She also helped me later with travel arrangements. She met me at the Moscow airport when I had to change terminals,arranged a very nice apartment on a minutes notice which was very reasonable,etc. She literally saved me 10's of thousands of roubles!

Jealousy was not a problem with the interpretor we had in Moscow because they were very friendly together and she was happily married! On the otherhand the interpretor we had in Kiev did start causing problems. Her husband later turned into a boyfriend,etc. She started trying to make my darling look bad. Needless to say I let her go early.

I could definitely see how an interpreter could cause problems thats what I mean about a middle man. But I don't begrudge anybody they way they go about things.
That route I don't think would be for me. Of course I haven't been over there yet. I might change my mind once I have gone and done it on my own. So I am not making a judgement on those that get interpreters or have everything lined up by others for when they get there. It just isn't something I can relate to.
This is also just my 2 cents.
You know, this is the second post I have read where an interpreter screws things up for somebody. What the heck is going on over there?

Salvatore,The interpretor did not screw things up for me! We both had are wherewithall with us and realized what was going on!(Hence we fired her!) It is quit easy to see if an interpretor is translating correctly by facial expressions!

PS we are very happy and nearing our 3rd anniversary!
