Upgrading a membership at Elena's Models?

Hi folks,

I have been debating on which upgrade to choose on elenasmodels website.
The Gold membership is for 12 months and it's $199
The Platinum membership is for 6 months and it's $499

My question is, is the Platinum membership really worth the extra cost?
I've read that many of you recommend this site and I was wondering if you posted a profile. Which did you choose? What kind of response did you get?

I've used Scamastasia for a while so I've already spent a few bucks in the past so I'm not afraid to spend a little money. I just want to know if the benefit outweighs the additional cost.

I guess I'm asking, "Is the Platinum membership the way to go?"

To be honest I started with the weekly ladies catalogue, once I put my profile on I had lots write to me anyway, so it didn't cost me a lot. Then if I used up my credits or wanted to write to a lady who was outside the 3 month catalogue window I just purchased her address at about $8 a time.

In my opinion, it is only worth the Platinum etc if you envisage sending dozens or hundreds of emails out, that was not my way so I did not pay for the extra benefits as they were of no use to me.

You need to ask yourself how many women you think you will need to write to, then decide what level of membership is best for you.

Go with the gold. It is what I had and I had more then enough attractive and interesting women to choose from.

I say go with the gold.... from what I remember reading.. you can upgrade and only pay the difference... IIRC...

BTW, you can send an expression of interest with gold that does not count against your contacts... there are ladies who will say no just looking at your profile which will save you a letter...

The temptation is great, to go out and contact every single one that you think would be halfway decent. But there is a time factor, as well as the money factor. Unlimited access to all would be great, but will you be getting your money's worth---that is the question.

Elena's is a little different than most agencies, where the new additions are separate from the general listings. Sometimes being there first does make a difference. I can see getting the "weekly" list at Elena's, and likely the gold. But I can't fathom any real advantage of the extra money for the platinum.

If you choose the weekly catalogue or the Gold you can always update at a later date from any level and you only pay the extra upgrade fee, you don't have to pay twice.

I would start with the Weekly Catalogue, these women are only available to those who purchase that anyway and they have not been inundated with hundreds of emails from admirers, you will notice if you check around a lot of the ladies who start off in the three month weekly catalogue get snapped up befeore they are released to the main database.

Thanks Aza. All I can say is the support and well wishes of the RMP members was of great help and assistance.

My story was detailed. Some people do not like this but I wanted newbees to know and understand the problems and pitfalls along the way. Maybe I should change the title to "Russian Women 101"!!!

When you upgrade to gold do the girls get to e-mail you for free or anything like that?
I was thinking of joining the platinum in the spring when I will have some extra cash becuase I heard that you get alot of e-mails from interested women so you don't waste your time. You e-mail the ones you know are already interested. Does it work the same way with the gold?
I am a silver right now and sent 20 expressions of interest. Had 10 show a positive so I bought 10 e-mails for $50. 3 of the interested ones replied. Of those 3 I am still corresponding with one of them.
I figure the gold is worth it.

Yes women can e-mail you with the silver. They make money off the men ... not the women. Signing up for the women is free and they can e-mail anyone if they are a member.

Only good luck. I'm going to met a woman from Moldova next month and met her on free personnels. I met about 5 or 6 other nice ladies there also. I did have 1 scammer.

GTR You're batting pretty good if you only got one scammer. I signed up a few days ago and already have more responses than I think I can handle. 2 seem like scams and one other sent an e-mail aying simply hello. She could be a scammer too. Of course all of the girls that responded could be scammers. They seem genuine though but you never know.
I just read your whole story GTR and it shook me up a little. I have only dipped a couple toes in the finding-love-in-the-FSU pool so it was good for me to see how innocently things can begin and how quicky they can go bad. I think Lep and one or two others here met their wives on this site, there arfe good and bad everywhere, just be careful and don't start sending money to the first lady who asks you to. Keep your head and if it sounds too good to be true generally it usually is!!

Yes you do get a lot of e-mails when joining a new service, "FRESH MEAT"!!! It is hard to tell at first if someone is a scammer. I'm over 50 so if I get an e-mail from a 31 year old, which I did from this site, I usually don't answer. I did this one because she said she wanted to be friends, never heard this approach before.

Yes I think my thread has a lot of good information in it for newbies. It covers a lot of ground and different situations. I'm glad it does not deter you in finding a FSU woman. The best advise I can give you based on my thread is to ask questions if something doesn't feel right. I of course did but she was a good liar and I believed her. I didn't have any proof to continue the questioning and I didn't want her to think I was a control freak or a super jealous guy. I chalk it up to experience and that it was meant to be.

I did the gold membership an also the weekly catalog, If You need more credits you can upgrade any time in 6 months and they credit the money you already spent towards the next higher level.

2 years a ago I did the planume the only difference is you get unlimited contacts and it includes the weekly catalog. . I never got anymore email from the women on the site from having the higher membership. The only email I got from women on the site were the ones who email every new guy as it is free for them.

If I was to do it again I would start with only the weekly catalog, as stated many of the higher quality women get picked up before they are on the general list. When they hit the general list they will get lots of mail. As of lately the Girls I am chatting to have received hundred as the men are all looking towards the summer socials.

I can tell you even if you don't upgrade they will continue to offer you a discount for any length of time after your initial subscription runs out. I have not paid for a membership for over 18 months now, yet they offer me a discount all the time to re-join. I don't need to, I just buy individual addresses, but since last Septemeber/October I didn't even have to do that as I filled in a survey for them and received 10 free credits, still to use them all as women were writing to me all the time.

I haven't taken the step to get the catalog yet. I've been working on establishing if the women I talked to through Anastasiaweb are legit.

They sent me their mailing addresses and I am in the process of writing to them to see if they are the real deal. If so, then I probably won't buy the catalog. I really hope they are the real deal because I am very interested in meeting them.

I am doing the same thing but with freepersonal.ru. I have 4 girls I am talking to via freepersonal and 1 from elenasmodels from when I paid $50 for 10 e-mails.
The one from elenas is nice and funny and speaks perfect english but I don't feel a connection. 3 of the girls from freepersonals I dont feel much of a connection with but the fourth has me hooked. I am waiting for that one to fall through because since she seems to good to be true I am sure she is.
So when she decides to scam me then i will go for the catalog too.

You are so right. It has been a few weeks since I joined freepersonals.ru and now I don't get any new e-mails. In fact I rarely get a response from the girls I write to on there now.

Have used Elenasmodels successfully in the past, to the point of engagement now terminated. Know from ex's chit-chat from agency office use that some are gold-diggers who 'put it about' for shopping trips, etc. ie. not too serious about actually leaving town, but EM is generally a well-run outfit.

Am currently get a lot of (too much?) interest from Fiance.com (aka fiance.ru), including the grand-daughters I never had who seem to just want to chat (not scam), which is nice. The younger ones can be very fluent in English. The automatic translator seems to be very useful, but there is a price of course. Yes, this site is keeping me very busy. Any other comments about it?

I had a platinum membership at Elenas and used FreePersonals.ru a lot as well. To me Elena's worked great. I mostly contacted the ones from the weekly catalog since I seemed to get the best response that way. They were new and not writing a lot of guys yet. I had a lot of gals contact me from Elena's, maybe 100-150 total but not too many were of interest.

Attractive gals on freepersonals often get 400-500 emails the first day so the response rate is not so good but still I met some nice ladies there.

Hey guys, just wanted to offer some advice based on my experiences.

I was in the internet dating scene in Australia for ages before I met my Russian honey. And there always seemed to be a bit of a power-play depending on who contacted who first.

Whenever a date followed my expression of interest (me contacting them) then I always felt like I was in a job interview. Not good, and always ended as a disappointment. Whereas if i was sent 'kisses' or 'smiles' or whatever first by a girl then the date seemed to be much more easygoing and fun.

So if you want a better start I truly believe it comes down to marketing yourself and encouraging expressions of interest to you. Try to think from the girls' perspective and what they go through - if you were a Russian girl among many, how would you stand out from the crowd? Good photos, family values, fluent in your language, interested in your country .. try to do the same for them.

Im definitely not the best looking bloke in the world but I had a lot of interest based on my profile and getting some good photos done.

Is it the water? Do they get past by as being 'out of the way? Is it a particularly desparate place? Or is there some big scam they're all on that I haven't figured out yet.

This site has its advantages, but due to its set up ive seen girl recieve dozens of letter a day, the vast majority of which they cant or dont reply to. (I was with a girl yesterday who is a member of this site, and she showed me how many letters she gets!) i think it much better to zone in on a small amount of girls than pay over the top so that you can talk to lots of them.

I can agree they have their disadvantages just like everything in life has their advantages and disadvantages. The cold hard reality is that more people recommend Elana's than any other site and more guys have found their wife or fiancee there than any other site including me. It may not be perfect but it is the best thing out there.
