This evening, I will go pick up Olya at the airport. After such a long wait it's hard to believe sometimes that we will actually be together in a matter of hours. The wait was difficult, but we both agree that in the end it was good for us to have such a long time to think about our relationship and know that we are doing the right thing. Noone can say we rushed into anything, that's for sure! I'm busy today getting everything ready to welcome her to our home. I just checked flight tracker and right now she is over Labrador. Unbelieveable

So, what you're saying is that you are a little bit excited, huh?

Your feeling about the wait, and the security and knowledge it brings, is something I was trying to express in an earlier thread. But the focus ended up shifted from the good feelings it can generate to the anguish of waiting.

The hard work is still left to be done. But the the burden is light when you are certain you are sharing it with the right person. Congratulations to both of you, for reaching this milestone!

Go get her Golek!!! If it were me, I would be going completely crazy cleaning the house and would have virtually no time to do anything else! But then again, when I sent Sasha pictures of my place (after I cleaned it), she said that she would need to come and help clean the house!

(I guess the bachelor definition of "clean" isn't really CLEAN!)

I'm sure you got this covered already, but maybe it's a good idea to get some flowers ready! Some at home and a bunch to take with you to the airport!

Oh by the way, I have been spending the past week and this week cleaning my house from top to bottom. Trying to change it from a bachelor pad to a more homely house will be difficult. I have to go to the store and trade in my george foreman grill and sandwich maker for some pots and pans, change my tiger print bed sheets to a floral design one. It seems like I am doing spring cleaning.
