Anyone have an answer....will I be able to play my CDs from US on my fiancee's computer? We can play CDs bought there. I would like to bring some nice, romantic music with me on my trip for the holidays to Odessa.

Yes, you can, but everyone will be singing in Ukrainian

Seriously, no problem with audio CDs or MP3s.

US DVDs may cause a problem, if her computer/DVD drive isn't region unlocked. Usually no problem playing those bootleg Russian DVDs anywhere, as they are usually region free.

thanks conner....it addition to the romantic music, i could turn my fiancee on to my extensive collection of heavy metal 80's hair bands like poison, cinderella, whitesnake, quiet riot, and the all time greatest - twisted sister....just kidding, maybe i'll expose her to the souther fried rock classics like molly hatchet, lynyrd skynyrd, 38 special and the outlaws...or maybe not....i might get deported for importing bad music....no offense to any fans of the afore mentioned bands....again thanks...i'm technologically challenged and i can tell you're not

the ukrainian pop music really grew on me won my two trips to odessa this past summer...lotsa accordian stuff...maybe i'll get my uncle's old squeeze box, record a few tunes and be big on the ukrainian charts....do they have a ukrainian casey kasem?
