Hi Fellow Forunites,

I'm going to Odessa on Dec 25th for 10 days. Anyone have knowledge of ususal weather conditions there at this time of year? I lived on the VA coast for a while and I believe the climates may be similar...moderate temps, little snow, most daytime temps above freezing...???? Is this correct?

Do I pack the brutal weather gear as if I were going to Moscow, or do I go a little lighter? Long underwear? Big furry hat?

Anyone else headed there for the holidays? I can't wait to go and see my girl (woman)!!!!
