Russia's Anti-Monopoly Body Approves Creation of World's Largest Aluminium Maker

Russia's Federal Anti-Monopoly Service said on Wednesday, Jan. 17, that it has approved a three-way merger between domestic aluminium makers RUSAL and SUAL and Swiss commodity trader Glencore. The merger will create the world's largest aluminium and alumina producer.
