DVD about Russian-Western relationships? How much interest would there be?

Hi Everyone,

I am still considering creating a DVD about Russian-Western relationships (probably an introductary one which discuss some of the points that we address at the RMP), that include Lena and me discussing RW relationships, footage from my first trip to Belarus, as well as footage from our Russian Orthodox wedding in Belarus.

I would try to ad some humor in it, and make it as entertaining as possible, while also informative and full of helpful information.

I was wondering, what sort of interest or demand would there be for this kind of DVD?

Is it a very fringe sort of interest, or would there be a broader interest from single men who are interested in Russian-Western relationships?

I am not sure if it is the same sort of thing that you are intending, but in Sept/Oct last year I think it was, there was a documentary on British TV about 3 guys going over to Russia to meet their future wives and GF's, two from the UK and one from the US, the documentary featured JamesB (RMP) from London who actually got married on the documentary.

I know when it was shown over here , most of the UK guys wanted to see it and many from the US and Aus asked for copies of it. I don't know what happened following that documetary as JamesB has not been around for a while, so not sure if the guys from abroad got their copies or not, but there was certainly quite a lot of interest from all over.

I suppose it all depends on the content of the DVD's and what you intend to include in them?

Hi Khashyar,I think adding humor would be great,but may have to be carfull with how you use it,so not to make it sound like a big joke about Russian/Westren relationships.
But for sure some humor.

I had asked about a copy of this and was willing to pay for it and shipping.
JamesB said he would send a copy,never got any thing yet.

I have emailed him Randy this afternoon....the documentary was on Channel 4 here in the UK and I am trying to remember who actually made the programme but can't at the moment.

There is a thread on here somewhere with some of the details in it, if we can find it, we may be able to find out who made the film.

Thanks Chris,I will look up Betty Tv later and see if I can get a email address and contact them.Maybe I can buy a copy from them.
