Hi guys,
I am so thankfull that I found this site to share my experiences and to hear everyone elses experiences also. To all of you that have followed me from the very begining from my very 1st posting: Thanks for caring!

I got a phone call 2 days ago from the #1 women in charge of the dating site that I was on where I met my 1st lady on. She is the President in charge.

And as you know the 1st lady is history. I moved on and I am now talking with some new FSU & RW. And I am planning another trip this year.

She said to me that she just wanted to see if I was O K . She said I know you just had a very bad experience with your 1st trip in finding a life partner and I know how upset you were with the outcome. She said she was calling also to tell me a few things that have happened in the last 2 weeks while researching my story to her.

She then informed me that she has stopped doing business with the other agency that my previous lady was on.

Now remember , I met my 1st lady on one site. And my 1st lady belonged to a couple agency's. (These women post themselves on as many as they can get on .)

I asked her if she dropped the other agency because of the letter that I wrote to her. The letter that told the details of my 1st trip to Odessa with the "GOOD TIME GIRL/SCAMMER.

She said she could not tell me everything but she would tell me a little.

She said that she has been having many problems in the last year and a half with the manager of this agency. She thinks that it was highly possible that this manager was pushing girls to get men that were coming to visit girls to rent apartments that belonged to this agency.

She said that she thinks it was possible that this manager tells the girls :

Get this man to come here and visit with you even if you have no interest in him. You will get a vacation and possibly some nice gifts and we will even give you a kickback on the apartment rental.

She also said that the thing that made her the most suspicious of the manager of this agency was the discrepencies in the letters that this manager emailed her.

This manager told the Pres. that Oksana said some things to her that did not seem legitamate after speaking with me before.

This is what the manager of the agency told the President about me:

Well the President did not buy any of that . So she dropped them.

The Pres. also said that she herself is from the Ukraine and it is a fact that $15.00 will buy you any forged papers that you need in the Ukraine. She said if she walked into a hospital in the Ukraine she can have any nurse make fake papers for $15.00

Yesterday I got a text message from my 1st lady telling me that her agency has just been dropped and It is my fault and I should not excuse myself from this.

So what did I do ? I did nothing. I did not reply to the text message. I am on to bigger and better things now.

Onwards and upwards RP.....don't worry about it anymore......just put it all behind you and down to experience, you learnt a valuable lesson so move on! .......there are far better fish in the sea, just waiting for a nice tasty titbit!

A quick lesson for you. Most agencies will tell you what you want to hear in the hopes of retaining your business. There are very few agencies I trust and even a lot of the reputable ones out there are not adverse to telling a lie straight to your face if it means retaining your business.

When you finally do decide to move on and meet other women use an agency as a means to simply introduce yourself to women and get contact details where you can communicate without the prying eyes of an agency.

A new year brings new hope. Do yourself a favour and wash the events of 2006 away and walk away from everyone involved in your story, agency included.

Dave, I think that is great advice. I am a strong believer in avoiding "package deals" of translation, accomodation, tours etc to avoid potential conflicts of interest and being told what you want to hear and not what you SHOULD hear.

I was very lucky to be given the contact details of someone in St Petersburg via this website from ConnerVT. The person works with, but not within the dating industry so they have no barrow to push and nothing to gain. Instead of making a couple of business associates to help me, both this chap and his partner have become very close friends. Both people have told me things I needed to hear on occassion and have acted as a sounding board for me when I questioned some things going on too.

I wish every guy could find a couple with the integrity and warmth of their friendship that I found with Phil and Nina.

My advice to you...stay out of Ukraine now. I have had nothing but bad experiences there and it seems to be nationwide networking with these websites and agencies.

But, if you like the Ukraine then visit a large city and investigate buying apartments there. Plan to make a purchase (with an attorney) and visit and renovate your property frequently. Don't spend a lot of money on the women and you will maybe find someone who is of a kindred spirit to you...take your time...years...the investment and the time spent in really getting to know someone will be worth it compared to the cost of a fiance visa and bringing a stranger to your country.

Learn to speak a lot of Russian...become fluent in both the language and the culture...study...

I like St Petersburg myself...women are women, period, end of story...a kindred spirit? Find one and be sure of it...

Also be aware that Ukraine has big economic problems at the moment and some women maybe more financially motivated to leave than before.
