Can anyone recommend a good agency/s in Moldova that they have used? How does that region compare to other parts of Russia?

Speak to a guy called Roman in Chisinau, he can put your advert in the local paper for a few weeks. It's much more effective and affordable than using an agency, and ladies will reply to you.

You will find Moldova different to Russia, and it's all down to personal taste in what you prefer.

Pretty tough patch of the world for a Geenhorn. I've been there a bit and it is certainly different.

I would say this though, without joking or being leary, Kishinev has probably some of the most beautiful women I have seen anywhere in the world and usually well educated also.

It is a very pretty country and a much more mild climate than Russia. I've enjoyed it, but hmmmmmmmm need to have your witts about you so to say.

I/O is correct, Moldova is actually one of the poorest countries in Europe, you will see lots of poverty, especially outside Chisinau . However it is still a nice country to visit and the wine is superb! I was there recently in November 2006 and had a great time. Luckily for me I went with a friend who is originally from there and spoke the lingo etc.

Definitely hire a guide/translator if your are going on your own, and be careful at night. For a guide/translator try Marisha who is in Chisinau www.marisha.net

There a number of beautiful women in Moldova but they are quite ignorant in my opinion if you try to approach them as a stranger. Make sure you establish email or phone contact with at least 5-10 ladies before you go to visit them in Moldova.

Personally I found Romania better for meeting ladies.

Right on about the wine. I still have a nice bottle of Moldovian wine in my cellar.
