Hi everyone,well I am heading to Volgograd/Volzhsky.
I will be leaving Sept.21/06.I am very excited,but once again nurvous,you know that feeling.

I will going to meet my friend,a very pretty l,smart and funny lady.Her english is very good and she makes me laugh all the time.
I think everything will work just fine when I meet her.

My invitation should be arriving in the next few days and then rush on getting the visa.

It's great to see someone happily excited and nervous like you, as reminds me how I was on my first trips to meet my wife! It sound like you have more than good reason to be happy already, so I wish you all the best and even more excitement in the future :-)

Thanks everyone for the warm wishes.

You know I don't think it matters how many times I have been to the FSU,
or how many more times I will go,I will always have that excited but nervous feeling.

Not sure if I will be doing any updates while I am there or if I will just wait till I get home to tell my story.I don't want to take away from the trip or mostly my friend.I want to give her all the time I can.

While I am there I will also be putting my resume in at some schools and see what happens.

Bingism,yes I took the TESOL course and recieved my certificate.
I will be taking my resume with me on my trip,you never know what might happen,if I'm lucky I will have to return there for work.

Ok,I just put everything in the mail today.It will take about 7 days for them to fill out my visa and them mail time.
Hope everything is going to be ok with the visa,I am getting nervous.

Hey Mr Mo, Ian here jsut got back from russia, went to volograd. Different to Moscow and St Petes but still great. Its good your lady speaks english as i found they tend to speak less there than in the big cities. Take your lady to the Grand Cafe great atmosphere, good pizza next door and grand pizza too. Ian,what other places are good to see,museums,art gallaries,theaters?
Any info would be great.Of course I am sure my friend will know all the good places to go,I would like to hear what someone not from there enjoyed.
