How to find woman once I am there

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Hi everyone,

This is my first post on the forums here. I am planning a trip to the Eastern Europe area towards the end of October. I am probably going to Moscow and St Petersburg. I considered Minsk and Kiev, but for pure tourist enjoyment I have always wanted to see Red Square. My question is, once I am there is there a feasible way to make contact with woman who are interested in Americans? Local dating agencies, places to go etc?

Welcome to the forum Lance.

If this will be your first trip to that part of the world, you are in for an incredible adventure. My advice to you is to go hit the local "hot spots" and get your game face on. I love to dance and have never been unlucky at ANY of the clubs over there. But then again, there is something about seeing a lovely lady looking at art in the Hermitage and striking up a conversation.

It's no different than in America really. If you love to have fun, you will attract fun people.

Cheb

PS: You mentioned "Eastern Europe". Don't forget Prague or those zany party queens in Munich.

I think many of the things you post here are utter nonsense and make absolutely zero contribution to this forum!

But that's just my opinion and everyone is entitled to one.

Hi Lance

To be honest, it's as easy as plucking nasal hairs - not hard to do, but it'll sting a bit! Don't know about Moscow, but the Nevsky Prospect and it's assortment of bars and clubs is easy pickings if you're not an ewok. However, these places are pricy and you'll have to remind yourself what kind've girl can easily afford to be out in some of these places. $5-10 for a glass of wine doesn't seem too expensive, but it's relatively a lot of cash.

That said, here's the deal... make sure you look good, get a paper and a pair of shades, install yourself outside your chosen cafe, sit back and look around you... a finer choice you will see no where else on this planet. Make sure you learn a little Russian before you go and, when you get the "blink" and a cute smile, approach (warily at first), ask if she speaks English in your very best Russian and away you go.... It's gonna be a buzz if nothing else, but don't expect to find eternal happiness outside (of even inside) bar Magrib or SSSR. You'll see a lot of D&G, Gucci and Versace floating around and it looks good.

Actually my best advice is to try and set something up before you go. Try the freepersonals as you're unlikely to get burned by scammers if they know you're going to be in town. If nothing else, you'll get to spend some quality time in town in the company of some nice people and won't have to stump up for Champanski (Russian champagne / pomagne to you and me) and get a little vodka fuelled and splash the cash too much

Hope that helps
