I don`t think there are dominant genes of blond hair and blue eyes and that case GoingToRussia before mentioned can be explained easily, that`s simpliest problem from genetics. You know when one has 2 recessive genes they are expressed (natural blondies/blue-eyed carry 2 "blond hair/blue eyes genes"), when both genes are for dark hair/dark eyes person has dark hair/eyes. Also when person carries 2 different genes, one dominant (dark) and one recessive (blonde/blue), dominant genes get expressed. But remember recessive genes have equal chance as dominant to be transfered to kids. So each parent can be dark headed/eyed but still carry 1 recessive gene, if both such parents give a recessive gene to kids, children in result have 2 recessive genes, that get expressed and kids from 2 dark headed/eyed parents have blonde hair/blue eyes. And for blonde father and dark-headed mother (possible blonde gene carrier) probability of having blonde kids is higher (for 2 dark-headed blonde carrier probablity of having blonde kids is 25%, and for 2nd case with blonde father is 50%), I should mention that for small number of kids this percent isn`t strict and can`t be used directly. |

I've a very good sense of smell, and it does factor into whether I find a woman sexually attractive. (and I'm not talking about hygeine issues, or choices in purfume... Shame on you!!!! That could be someone's babushka. I have seen, and known, many elderly women who looked like that without dentures. Most were in their eighties, and many were very beautiful when they were young. My great aunt would have been one to have so "mocked". I saw a photo of her, taken in about 1919, and she was one of the most beautiful women I had ever seen. My MIL is another - now close to 80 (though she still has her teeth). Film star beauty - I know she turned heads as a young woman. Beauty (both male and female) is, in the end, fleeting. If you are truly alive, you don't f##k a body; you make love to a soul. I never thought about it, and don't really consider the appearance of my genes in a recessive carrier woman very high on my priority list. I don't think that procreation is the highest level we can achieve in this life. Any animal with reproductive organs can procreate, after all. Perhaps it's a genetic goal of our species, but it certainly qualifies as a lame reason to choose a blonde over a possibly more suitable brunette as a mate. Just my opinion, FWIW.
