A tip while your lady watches TV in your country

I use the subtitles on page 888 of the teletext (Uk & Ireland usually) so she can hear and read whats happening.


It actully helps greatly for her to understand.

Actually, it would have been great if they had this feature on russian cable.
It would be especially useful to me in the early mornings while the missus is still asleep and I'm just checking out all the "trash-tv". I'm a sucker for "Domachny" ...

When I watch "who wants to be a Millionaire" in Russia and I can read the questions but i still get the questions wrong, but yes, it would be a great help to have the Russian subtitles for other programmes.

I think some of the DVDs we buy in the metro come with em, must check that out.
