This is for Texas Proud and others that may wish their beloved to visit here in USA, may also be used for UK, NZ and Australia

Here in states no introduction letter is needed......BUT......when Tatiana went to American Counsulate to obtain travel visa to visit me here in USA....
I had send her a email letter addressed to "Whom It May Concern"
This letter stated that I had previously visited this most dear woman the previous year in her country/city

Now I have offered her to visit me here in my domicle, "my turf"

In letter I stated that she was a most excellent daughter to her parents, A most excellent mother to her children, A most wonderful pet owner for her dog, She kept a most nice, up to date and modern apartment which I had the pleasure to visit on several occasions,

She was a responsible woman, who is gainfully employed, has many friends, and social activities, and has a full life in Ekaterinberg

I had ended this letter with my telephone number, my address, and email address.

Tatiana stated that the consulate officer read this letter with most serious interest for a long period of time....meaning it carried some weight.

So introduction letter is NOT required...but letter of type that used can maybe help in obtaining visa for your beloved.

PS it is just after 1:00 PM here Saturday and I have opened second bottle of Spaten....Optimator beer, ...if you have German Deli, or well stocked liquor store near you must try this beer, fairly expensive though, but this weekend I splurge, next flight to Russia i may very well arrange flight through
Frankfort with a lay over to try some beers.
