Hello everyone, good news!

Finally…I got our anticipated express mail package today, and we are now another step closer to filing the actual petition. I am amazed at how things between us have changed for the better since she made up her mind. I cannot explain it, except that for her my getting us an attorney showed her the seriousness of my intent. Go figure, everyone is different I suppose. I hope that once I get the actual receipt from the BCIS confirming they have the petition I will be able to relax and realize that our being reunited is just a matter of time. For me not having a start date is somewhat unnerving and like being in limbo. This really is a test of patience, as excruciating as it is at times, a true test of character that I admit I may have struggled with, and also failed in at times.

That great news, Brian, that things are moving along in a great way for you both...

She obviously is witnessing your actions and feels more secure and confident about your intentions because you are taking serious steps to move things forward.

Perhaps this is partly because some men just communicate with Russian women and don't take serious steps with these women, including not taking the steps to go visit them...
