i'm heading to kiev in a few weeks. a ukrainian woman here in the states suggested small gifts with the statue of liberty are well received. here's a good site. i bought some things online for my trip:

I am sure Kiev is great this time of year and I am a little jealous as i would love to go somewhere , anywhere right now .
Have a great trip Pinboy and dont forget the soft soaps in the pump bottles at bath and beyond , lol. There great cheap gifts also.

Have a great trip PB! I just returned a week ago from a 3 week stay in Russia, and if the weather there is any indicator I think you will for sure have even hotter weather in Ukraine.

If my trip works out in a month, the lady I've been writing has several daughters-under 8 years- I have several ideas- but I think it'd be fun to give them each a St Louis Cardinals red baseball cap.
