First let me say I am glad I found this website and I look forward to the responses I receive. Thanks to the moderators for providing such an outstanding service to all us men. I have been contacted by maybe a handful of Russian women, none have gone past even a couple emails until this lady.
I will post the letters I have received. A few details. We have been emailing each other for 1 week, everyday. She contacted me, through match.com where she found my profile. I know - red flag. But there are so many positives. But it is early, so I will keep you posted. The positives - First. she is from Tver, I have not seen that city often on any blacklists, can't recall ever seeing it actually. Her full name she has given me does not bring anything up on google. I consider that a positive right? I have not seen her photos or name on any blacklist. She has given me her address, but not her phone number yet. She says she is careful about giving out personal info, and will give me the number after we talk more. She has never asked for anything, she even says she makes "good wages". Not sure how much that would be though. She only has mentioned me coming to visit her. Her pictures are getting more personal, ones with her dog, her parents, etc. She has made it clear that she wants to live in America, not in Russia. The email IP checks out coming from Russia. She is using rambler.ru and says she is using the computer at her work. She even mentions the name of the company. Here are the letters, I appreciate anyones opinion.

I wrote, that I live in Russia, but it was spoken anyhow, that by me from the USA, therefore be not surprised. I live in Russia. I want to tell at once, that I also have written to two more other men. However they yet have not written back. Probably later they will write to me. I hope, that you not against I wrote not only to you. I could not speak about it. You have written to me to the first and consequently I shall concern to your letter especially closely!

My work allows to use to me a computer and I found time to read about it. I at all did not represent as many people search for love on the Internet!!!! It is a lot of web sites which suggest to find people. I could write independently from my computer to you. It costed to me approximately 30 dollars to be a member and to write to you. I wanted to open again today match.com but it spoke, that I again should pay money and I refused service. I cannot send the letter any more and consequently I hope, that you will write to me! Otherwise it will be again necessary for me to pay 30 dollars! J
I want to speak you so many things! Please excuse me if I cannot speak you much today. We shall have still time to speak! Before us still it is a lot of time to learn each other! Today I had a lot of work. We shall soon have meeting and I should prepare the report. By the way! I have told nothing to you about my work. I work in company " GAZTEHSERVISE ". Our company is engaged in sale of gas to consumers. I work as the senior head of a sales department of gas. I on this post 1,5 years! My work pays to me good money. I have worthy residing. Hello Alan!
I waited your letter! Today I woke up early. I usually wake up at 6:30. I opened in the morning a computer and worked a little. I to prepare for a meeting with experts. I already spoke you, that it is necessary for me to execute the report. I yesterday worked at home till 23:00!!! Also I today copied some pictures and today I shall send you 2 more pictures! OK?
In the first picture you can see my parents, and on the second me and my dog!:-)
You really loved my pictures? We only drank tea and now I write to you! How your day was? How work?
You know, I have received today the letter from another the man. he from city New York, NY. His name Stanley. However I should tell, that he does not want to have serious relations. I have written to him and have told, that I in that case do not want to waste time. I have explained, that I search for serious relations.
I shall not write to him any more. I promise you it. I want to ask you a question. What induced you to write to me? Interest? Curiosity?

How are you? I am fine! Today we have good weather. I on work right now. I usually to leave work at 18:00. I rose today at 6.30. My day today began well enough. I as usually prepared for a breakfast. Last night I was engaged in the clothes. I erased last night. I have the good washing machine. It is the automatic washing machine. She very much helps me. I in general very much like to be at home and to be engaged in domestic affairs. Today I by phone called in car service Avtovaz. It is necessary for me to replace motor oil in my automobile. I have passed already enough long distance and now I should make service! I on Saturday shall be engaged in the car!
I go for work on my car and consequently I should care of the car. Except for my automobile I also the good mistress on kitchen! I like to prepare! I the good cook! I am confident, that you like Pizza! I like to eat houses and I do not like to go in restaurants of a fast feed. I to care of mine health. I try to eat only natural products. I to not drink alcohol it is a lot of. I do not smoke also. The woman should possess natural beauty! I to care of my body. I go in for sports also. I to be engaged Fitnes! I visit Fitnes-Club. Today good day! Weather here in Russia fine! I in general the optimist and I try to find the best in things! How about you? You the optimist or the pessimist? I today woke up enough early. It was necessary for me to repeat my report. Today on work I did reports to mine the boss. I also gave the report and it was successful! I had good work of a house and consequently I today have success on work! My colleagues admire! My boss also is very pleased, that he has good experts! I would like to ask what weather you have today? How are you doing?
You thought of me? j I recollected in the evening you! Fairly! I had a lot of work, but anyhow I thought of you! I knew, that you to me will write also to me it was very interesting to receive your other letter. I would like to hope, that also it is interesting to you to speak with me! I wish to add my response to your request; I'm sure it will represent the opinion of many of the guys on this forum. BTW, I have chosen to not read the whole content of your letters as these are personal to you.
As far as I'm concerned, this is heading in the right direction. However, there are some clever people out there who know how to play the game and will take their time before trying to milk you.
Just make sure you use your common sense and keep you hand on your wallet!! At least until you've continued your correspondence for a reasonable length of time and subsequently spent some time with your lady in her country. You need to take the plunge and arrange to visit her sooner rather than later; this will eliminate the scammer risk and enable you to establish if your relationship will work or not.
Best of luck in your quest and feel free to ask any specific questions you need answers to. The guys on here are good and will be happy to help wherever possible.

I did not read all of the letters as I do not want to spend that much time right now... but I scanned a few..

But, there are a few things I got... she has a car... most women do not have one... it would indicate she makes some money....

did she say if she was divorced??? has any children??? I did see where she wanted to have two children... but it seems you can not have them... is this right??? I would be skeptical of a 27 YO who said she wanted children and then changed her mind the next letter... of the younger women who I had written, they did not give up their dream of children, but pressed me on having them...

You did not say how old YOU are... what is the age difference...

Of the letters that I scanned, it does not appear that she is having a two way conversation... but, we do not see what YOU wrote... so maybe she is answering you..

Like lucky said, take it easy, take it slow and do not fall for anything in one week... or a few...

Oh, one last thing... you said she contacted you on Match.. are you looking to meet a woman from Russia??? It is a BIG commitment in time and treasure... maybe taking two or more years before you have a wife in your house with many thousand of dollars (some over $30K)...

Edited to add : I think it is a good sign that she said she wrote to two other guys... this is not usual for a scammer (at least I have not heard of it)..

Like the other guys I also did not read everything, if I was in your position, the first thing I would do now is ask for a phone number and call her.

That should answer some doubts at least, if she will not give it to you, I would consider that a red flag, find out why!! every women I have writen to in the FSU was chuffed to bits that I wanted to call her!!

Just take things slowly and the obvious thing is keep your wallet zipped until you are as sure as can be she is OK.

The 1 thing that bugs me about her letters is she says her English is bad like she is writing the letters in English herself. I have no doubt these letters are translated by a computer translator. Other than that seems OK so far!

The guys give great iadvice.

The bits that I read seem fairly cool and nothing "usual", by this I mean there doesn't seem to be any form letters that I know of in her emails. For you own peice of mind try googling some parts of her letters, say about 10 sentences, not all at once but from thoughout the letters and see if they come up on the net, if they do then do some more net detective work.

Apart fromn that take it easy and get to know the lady and know her as well as you can. BTW don't send any money to someone you haven't met in person.

the part that bothers me is how does a woman from russia get on match.com, a pay service???? did the mail from match list her as living somewhere in the uSA? i think this is a common scam trick to get you to read her first email (with an attractive picture no doubt) and then reel you in with things you want to hear - "maybe you the man of my dreams, you now my good friend, etc." i'd say giving out a physical address is more "personal" than a phone number. i'd wonder if this is really a woman and not a "fat boris" behind a keyboard. who has time to write such loooong letters daily? just my opinion.

Thanks for your reply Texas Proud - Yes, this lady does appear to have money. She also talks about bringing home a leather sofa for her apartment. In her 6th letter that I am posting today, she actually says that she does have enough money to come see me. This woman has never asked me or even hinted that she needs money from me. But we shall see. Answers to your questions. - I am 44. I have read that 10-15 years age difference is ok, but past that most marriages do not last. After my last son several years ago I let the doc do the snip snip on me, so I can't have anymore children, nor would I want a infant at my age. I have told Lyuda that if her dream is to raise a family that we could perhaps adopt a child that is older. I have told her if she wants a baby, that she should look elsewhere. She has no children, and I do not believe she has ever been married. She does not appear interested in serious relations with a Russian man. I realize you can't see what I have wrote, but she does answer specific questions. Yes, she did contact me on match.com. I was not searching for a Russian woman. After getting to know her better though, and researching Russian woman and there reasons for searching for men outside of their country, I find myself now drawn to the possibility. You say up to $30k though? That is beyond my means, so should I just stop now? How does the process work anyway? Say I spend a couple thousand and go meet her, and she is all that I dreamed she would be. Other then another couple thousand to get her to USA, what type of expenses would I be looking at. And why 2-3 years? I am very interested on how tis all would happen. Thanks so much for your reply.

Chris - Thanks for your reply. She has today in letter 6 told me that she will call me if I give her my number. She has shared her address, but at this point not a phone number. I do consider this a red flag at this point, but perhaps she is just a careful woman.

I don't think it is wise to post a picture, you are trying to form a relationship wth this person, just think what she would think if she found her picture posted on this site, without her permission, linked to a question about scammers!

I suggest you have a look around the scamming sites, google parts of the letters to see if anything comes up and continue writing to her, just take your time. As others have suggested ask for her address and write to her via snailmail and speak to her on the phone, it is not expensive.

It is a learning curve, just enjoy it.

Hello Spakoyna - thanks for the reply. So you think the English is good? I sometimes have trouble understanding her, and what it is she is trying to say. I did not think it was that good, but I am not as educated on the subject as the group. Example - she says "Except for my automobile I also the good mistress on kitchen! I like to prepare! Trust me, this lady does not look like she has eaten to many houses!

Of course I know what she means to say, but sometimes I have to read things a few times before I get it.

At this time she has not given me her number. You are exactly correct about the picture, I never looked at it that way. If she is for real she would be hurt, and I don't want that.

Pin Boy - thanks for your response. Yes, her first contact from match.com showed her living in the USA. As you can see in her first letter though, she quickly says that is not where she lives. She does talk about the cost to get on match.com in letter 2. She says she would have to pay another $30 to be able to email others if I did not write back to her. This lady appears to have money, so I can perhaps see that she uses match.com instead of an agency to search for someone. Just my hopeful opinion though, time will tell.

since you have her home address you could use a service that will deliver flowers and take a photo of her and send it to you. that should quickly answer a lot of questions.

I think you should listen to their song "gomenasai" both it in English and too it is pleasant to me! I think that you can find songs on the Internet and listen. I in general love music with sense.. I like to think of a life under quiet music.
In my car I also have music. I like to go on city and to listen to music. In the morning on a way to work I listen to radio and together with a good morning song I finally wake up! Hello Looking…

The reason it may cost thousands of dollars to pursue a very long distance relationship is this, which is not a complete list by any means….

Visiting her in Russia at least 2 if not 4 or 5 times
Airfare, hotels or apartments, food, gifts, flowers, etc…
Long distance phone bills
Cost of paperwork to obtain a visa
Airfare for her to come to the US
Initial costs of her getting settled (others can give you some ideas on that issue)

It isn’t like you would spend the whole 30K all at once, but these things add up over time. The forum can give you great suggestions on how to save money when visiting, but don’t kid yourself in to thinking that a very long distance relationship is cheap. What long term relationship is cheap?

The reason it can take 2 or 3 years is that even if you do hit it off on the first meeting, the amount of time required to get a K-1 visa approved is usually a minimum of 6 months. You need to add in all the getting to know each other time.

24-36 months is a reasonable amount of time. Just think about it this way, if you met someone in your home time how long would you take before you married them? 1 year most likely 2 or 3 years.

By the way I would hold off on posting any more letters. It seems like everyone is paranoid about meeting a scammer. Within the next couple of weeks you will know if she is serious or not.

Yes, I say $30K as a normal thing, but over time... and if that is a problem, then thing if you really can afford a wife!!! She might not be able to work for awhile.. and you will have to pay her health insurance, her car, her clothes etc. etc... a wife is not cheap not matter what country they come from...

But, I would be that you would take more than one trip and her coming to you also... but, you can do it cheaper if you wish...

I have used a translating program long enough to understand the syntax, etc. Russian to English is a very difficult translation! The languages differ very much. I wish I could give you a link or two but don't have enough time. Google up a few "Online Russian-English translation" and play with them a bit(translate and then translate back). You will understand very quickly what I am talking about. I do not consider it a deal breaker but worth consideration!

A letter I did not include was the original letter that came through match.com. The letters I received once I replied to this seem to be legit, but this original letter is coming up red flags all over. Here is it.

(no links to any blacklist though) And when I tried to visit the profile after I received this letter match.com said it could not be found. Still some signs show this is not a scam, but this has to be a red flag?

Don't assume it is a scam just because you find some phrases that have been used before. The scams that have been revealed to me by googling a phrase from a letter I received have involved a whole series of letters which end up with the lady asking for money. What I am trying to say is that if you google a phrase from her letter and find a series of letters practically word for word, which ended up as a scam, you are probably writing a scammer. I don't think it is unreasonable for a lady whose English is not good to write the same letter to more than one man, or to use "canned" letters. If I had to have letters translated to another language, I would probably be tempted to use the same letters or portions of letters to convey basic information--in fact, I have used some of the Russian phrases from Elenasmodels website.

As far as wanting to meet quickly, maybe she has been the victim of a keyboard romeo that has wasted months or even years of her time and never came to visit, or maybe she really is very excited and wants to meet you. I have seen in at least one lady's profile the statement that she will want an in-person meeting soon.

My gut feeling is that she is setting you up. She refers to meeting in the U.S. and staying for a period of time. That usually isn't possible. I know others will disagree but I don't think it is a good sign when the RW iniates contact through a service like match.com. There are agencies she could register with in Tver like Lifetimepartners if she is legit which would cost her nothing. Good luck and I hope I am wrong.

There is a scam going where agencies post profiles of ladies on sites and then they take the profile off the site after they have received a number of emails for the girl. This is so that there is no record of her after you are scammed.

But it is hard to evaluate this one as yet either way!! Keep us posted!!

Thanks for the reply Greg - that is my gut feeling also. As much as you want these ladies to be for real, when they initiate the contact you are most likely dealing with a scam. I sent her a letter today, in a nut shell I told her that I am not a desperate or stupid man and that there is NO WAY I would ever send money to someone I have never met. We will see if the emails keep coming!

1 she subscribed to a junk dating service, hopefully to find a match. That costs money: it's in the picture. After a short while she magically meets mr.perfect and the usability of the website is no longer paramount...

No Chris - as soon as I received the email through match.com I clicked on the link, I only got a page saying the profile could not be found. I won't waste much more time on this lady if I don't talk to her on the phone soon and get some specific photos I have asked for. She has my number, so lets see if she calls.

LFMO...Please do me a favour. Do not go into this debating if it is a scam or not. If you do, I feel so sorry for the girl, every letter she writes you scrutinize, and check, and post for us to read.

I mean be cautious..YES... over zealous NO... you have come where you are looking for a reason it is a scam, and possibly over looking a very sweet girl... I did not read the letters at all as I feel they are personal and should not be posted.

But I have read others reply...It is good she has written to so few people, maybe it shows she is trying to start a relationship and not emailing everybody and seeing how many scams she can do.

If marriage is what you are looking for... look for marital qualities in the letters and talks... dont look for scams...

I am quit sure I can take 1 or 2 lines from my wife's letter, and find similar on google or yahoo... and I know my wife is not copying them... The Russians use a certain kind of speach and writing style... not 1 but most... there English is very literal, but I have noticed they use a lot of the same phrases. The free translators really screw it up worse and re-words certain phrases... so again you will find many women using the same phrase...

OMG look at her.... and not reasons it could be a scam.

What is it about her that YOU like??? That would make YOU want to spend money to visit and maybe build a relationship??? What are her likes and dislikes?? What does she want in life??? Does she want to work? Etc. Etc...

And, what have you told HER about you??? It seems that she has picked you as her one and only in a short time... Would you do this with someone from Match??? I do not think so... so why with someone from FSU???

I think you are going like a lot of guys and see the young beautiful woman and wish you could enjoy being with her... a trophy... but it is not good for a long term relationship... think about what you are doing and what you seem to be saying in only 6 or 7 letters!!!

She is probably using an on-line translation tool for her english. If she is not well versed in coaxing the best results from the translator the resulting English text can be a little weird, and word choices bad.

If she does make the effort to come visit you, I suggest that you NOT involve yourself in the process. She should do this on her own. Should she desire to stay in the US after arriving to visit you it must not appear that it was planned before hand. Her stay in the US could be engineered for as long as 6 months or more, so you get some time to find out if there is compatibility before a commitment would have to be made.

What others have written here is also true. Keep that wallet closed until you have met her regardless of whether "Mohammed goes to the mountain, or the Mountain comes to Mohammed."

Have fun with your unique RW experience no matter how it turns out. You will learn a lot about FSU culture.

If she is really using a computer at work see if she will send you a letter from her work email address. Anyone (fat boris included) can get a mail.ru or rambler.ru mail account...

Spamcop will calculate the service provider associated with that email address. If it is tied to her work it is likely that the company postmaster's email and domain name will be provided, and from this you can determine a web site address to see if the company is legitimate.

And one other note. A careful look at the header of an email from rambler.ru or mail.ru will show an entry for the IP address of the computer/ ISP/ corporation/ that initiated the sending of the mail from the mail service. This address can be converted back into a domain name by a reverse DNS lookup... It usually will indicate something about what type of service she is connecting to rambler.ru from...

Today she uses the word "love" for the first time in her email. Again she speaks of coming here, and NOT needing money - qoute "I think, that I can find enough of money to arrive to you. How many it will demand money? It should not be very expensive. I visited Europe and I received the visa. I think, that I also can receive the visa in the USA". This was a red flag at first - I had heard it is very difficult for a Russian woman to get a Visa to the US. I had heard of a k-1, but not this Visa you speak of. Please enlighten me about the B-1 Visa. Lyuda wants to come and stay one month, and to this point has not asked for a penny, so lets give her all the info she needs to come here. Only red flag left "Please not be the bore and I shall not allow to you a phone number now. Unless you cannot be patient?" Like Chrismc said, I must talk to this lady right away or move on. here's how i think it will go down: she claims she has the visa and plane tickets but when she gets to the airport the "officials" will not allow her to travel to the states because she must have a certain amount of money to sustain herself there. this is total BS but has been used in many scams before. she's right there at the airport just a plane ride away from your loving arms and passionate bliss. BUT lo and behold, she needs $400 to satisfy the authorities and if you could transfer her the money, probably by western union, she could be on the next flight and you'll be sharing champagne and chocolates before the day is out....i hope this isn't the way it happens, but don't be surprised.

ask her how it is possible to love someone she has never met and see what kind of response you get from that.

have you tried the flower delivery idea?

You mean Mari El, it is a republic and the capital is Yoshkar Ola. It used to be most scams come from there but it is small fries now as far as I am aware.

Get her phone number and if she won't do something about talking to you then move on to someone else who is willing to do more than have a cyber relationship and mention the "L" word within the first 10 or 15 emails.

B1/B2 Visa is the travel visa. It's NON-immigrant visa, and is difficult, but not impossible to change status to an immigrant visa.

The person requesting the visa must show strong ties to family and profession. They must have proof of money in the bank sufficient to cover travel expenses and accommodation for at least three weeks. (at least $2500USD above and beyond round trip air-fare) And a confirmed itinerary that includes all the places that they plan to visit, and the accommodations, and domestic travel arrangements. *** note: it does not have to be a pre-paid itinerary, it just has to be confirmed! *** If the Consulate is cool with the request, they issue a 1 visa that has a one year maximum stay.

Really the toughest part is convincing the Consulate officials that the ties in Russia are strong enough to pull you back. These things are readdressed at the port of entry where the immigration officer(who has all the details of the visa, and the terms under which it is issued) reexamines the case just before authorizing the immigration card. This officer determines the maximum length of the stay on the spot, and usually questions the visa holder at length about the details of their trip. Anything goes wrong here and the visa holder ends up on the next flight out of the country or with a truncated stay. If the officer is happy with the examination then the typical result is a 6 month visa, thus truncating the maximum stay that the Consulate issued.

This is based on a detailed interview I had with a russian friend who has done this, and is here in the US. I took written notes.

As for the mail header, dump the whole content of the mail into www.spamcop.com and see who the service provider ends up being. From this you can do a google and see if there is any indication of what country they operate out of.

I think Pinboy nailed it when he predicted what will happen next. If you want to play this out with the flower delivery idea RVRWND(Richard Wright) is a member of this board and runs TverAngels there. You might contact him/his agency for help. I think it would be a waste of time and effort though.

Back to banging my drum again......the biggest Red flag here is the phone number, she is constantly giving you an excuse why she cannot give it to you.......we all know why. Then there is the Love red flag and many othes.

In my next email to her I would state:- to take this relationship further, you want to speak to her, otherwise you will have to move on.

It does seem now like she is getting closer to her scammers pitch!! and try to reel you in!!

I was on match .com also and got seven different girls on this site in the end two of them sent me the same letter but different names and that was after I had written them both for five letters . the others all have some type of formated letters that they send.at first it is just freinds then they go for the heavy duty love thing ,then they want you to send them money to get a visa. then the presure is on they keep on and on without never once asking about a airplain ticket ,for me that was the red flag for the other girls. but my question to them was how did they get on match .com and how can you love me in just a week? I can imagine that they would love to come to anywere but were they are but with the pictures like every one else speaks of it all seems so real in a way.or maybe tnats just the way we want it to be ?so my question would be how do you go about this as a regular person with a intrest in russian women ,and if some of what they say is true what is the formula for being able to make this all happen for us who are not as well off as somepeople but yet still would want to make this happen for ourselfs or is this to much to ask?mike

3 Make it clear YOU are going to visit, not the other way round. You don't want her to throw herself at the first comer over the net, plus you are interested in her country & culture. With genuine women, that should raise your rank; at the same time, it will raise a red flag for those seeking to pull some visa-travel scam.

4 be extremely realistic about yourself, your level of financial confidence etc. Tell the truth. You may loose a few over it because they think you're not the next six figures net income TV anchorman, yet the last thing you want is a disgruntled, angry woman ready to cockold you with the milkman AND take you to the cleaners because you are not the "career move" she wanted. Keep in mind these women want a better life and that includes worldly comforts. They are NOT staring to death and no, local men are NOT all jobless abusive drunkards.I don't think you'll find any going the MOB route for the sake of immaterial values only.

This came up in a conversation my wife and I had the other day!(initiated by a TV add for Match.com) I think it shed a whole new light on the Russian Marriage agency to me. When these girls sign up at an agency they are actually getting an agent or manager to find them a husband. Many have no idea what websites or tactics are being used to find their prospective partner. My wife was in a small agency. Yeap! They put profiles on match.com! Turns out my wife had been on match.com at some point. LOL, she asked me why I didn't write to her while she was on match.com! YIKES!

Seems like she opened a Match.com profile, built a form letter for the first letter (now of course none of us on this board would ever do that I am sure), and sent it to 66 different guys that seemed interesting to her. Then closed her account...deleting her profile.

This is not a red flag imho. What is a huge red flag may not be a red flag for a cash scammer, but maybe green card first scam, what I know of the RW I have contact with... if they say they want a baby, they mean their own. The baby is, again from my limited experiences, is more important than the husband. The husbands primary purpose is to be the provider. Maybe love will grow along the way.

Another issue, which is more of a major bump, not necessarily a red flag...is the financial part. Saying you are not a rich man does not translate at all to RW. If you are considering a RW they will assume you are smart enough to know the additional costs marrying a RW. She will reset her expectations when she moves to a new country. Meaning if she owns her own car now, she is in the upper class. This probably translates to a high end luxury car in a new country. It also means keeping her provided for, according to how she redefines this, PLUS a trip or two back to Russia every year, maybe a buttload of cash for dental work, and certainly new furniture, in every room (over a period of about 3 years) until the place is more her "cozy home", all the while she probably can not find something other than an entry level wage job. Not a deal breaker, but these are likely to be some hard bumps IF she is legit and it works out.

That would be Mari-El region, city would be Yoshkar-Ola. Lugansk Ukraine still holds the overall title but YO is the Russian leader. More scams from there than all of Moscow. Cheboksary and Kazan, both within a couple of hours of YO are also close behind in the scammer lists.

I asked my daughter if Mommy was a scammer since she was from YO, she assured me she is not! Just gotta know what you are looking for. I actually became attracted to the region because I was contacted by a scammer on Match.com from YO. Just did my homework and found out how to contact the legitimate ones.

The city actually now has a special unit in the police force dealing strictly with scam artists. The locals really don't like this reputation.

In case you haven't figured it out by now, this is a big scam.

Your letters are identical to the ones I have rec'd the last few weks, word for word minus the names. They used Irina for me.

You have probably got this one as well:

She eventually asks me to pay for a round-trip ticket for her. Yeah, will do. I have typed on a keyboard for two weeks....how much money should I send you?

I can't imagine anyone sending money, but there are suckers out there I guess. I guess I can be glad that she has wasted some time too...and she actually called me. I got really suspicious when she defintely wanted off the phone as soon as I answered and sounded like a tele-marketer. She also spoke English very well, why couldn't she write as she spoke?

I did a quick search on her "company" and found this. I knew I would find something, but was shocked to see the same exact letters. The pictures by the Volga river.....wearing a white turtle-neck sweaer by chance? Pictures with dog and parents in red shirt 7 red belt by chance? Lots of pictures in her "favorite dress" by chance?

My first red flags were she didn't answer questions I asked 3-4 times. I figured she was an idiot or a scam.....it turned out to be the latter. I am hoping she calls today like she says she will. I will have fun with it. I will let her know I can send the money but need to have phone sex first...it is an American tradition.

I have the EXACT same letters from Irina - Irinochka1 @ rambler.ru. Three pictures too. I believe that "they" are also using kachirina25@ rambler.ru. My letters started in September....I also was contacted through match.com. good luck!

rule of thumb....if they contact you first......it will simply be a waste of time. i used date.com...i contacted women...visited two (both fantastic) and married one. ..... there are many wonderful women....take your time, and YOU initiate everything...be smart, and all will be okay.
