I've decided I would like to visit Moscow and St. Pete. I'm booking a ticket, getting the entry visa, etc. for a trip near the end of August.

I am single and marriage-minded but not on any particular mission, and I'll be travelling with a buddy who is also single. It will be easy to fill the time with a standard tourist agenda, BUT:

I've met RW in the USA and I found that they often have a magnetic and sensual quality that strikes a chord with me. I am studying Russian and should have some of it down by the time I leave.

My question is - is there a way to jump-start the meeting of quality RW in the six-week period before I leave? (I have searched through these forums and most of the stories I see take much longer.) I figured I could meet people there without too much trouble, although I would be limited to those I just happened to bump into. Eesveeneetsyeh!

For those of you who have already been down this road - what would you do? Should I join a dating site like Elena's Models and start sending emails?

IMO I'd get a few dates set up in each town. If you're in each town about the same amout of time you'll meet locals there. You'll be suprised how friendly they are 1 on 1.

Just start a search on Ist International, EM or ones like it and buy only the addresses you want. Serach in the cities you are visiting then you are not wasting your time. Should be loads to got at!! you can set some up for when you go over, they will be especially interested if you tell them you have already planned a trip in the next six weeks or so.

Just a tip.

If you want to use freepersonals.ru, set up a new email address just for this.

Freepersonals appear on Black lists because they advertise known scam sites and, it is believed, they sell your email address. But it does work.

Good tip that Vic.....you will probably start getting a lot of spam eventually from the free sites.

Decide what you really are looking for in a lady first. Don't settle and don't expect they will.
Use a hotmail or other free mail account (freepersonals.ru is RBL on many listors).
Send honest and personal (speak to her!) emails and say you will be in the area on XX dates.
Ask in no uncertain terms for phone and street contact info.

Really, since you're already going, don't spend money after the horse has left the corral. There are really good, interesting women on Freepersonals.ru.
You can always find a local romance agency in the town if you feel you're 'coming up dry'. They'll help you meet ladies on very short notice.

I've always used EM (Elenas Models) no complaints, I have actually met (in person) some nice women on there, never had any scammers and my current UW who I am meeting soon found me on there

It doesn't have to cost a lot, just buy the addresses of the ladies you want, no need to buy full membership, or send EOI's to those you are interested in and if they respond but their personal details for around $8 - $10 a time, pretty easy to use really.
