Yes, it was quite a weekend in Yerevan. There were concerts and films all weekend. On Saturday night there was a rally and march through the center of town and yesterday Armenians from all over the world visited the genocide monument to lay flowers and pay their respects to the dead.
I want to mention, however, that the US government does not recognize the Armenian genocide. In fact, the US Ambassador to Armenia was in the US a few months ago and gave a speech in California where he used the "g" word--a BIG diplomatic no-no that actually almost cost him his job.

The Turks, of course, don't fess up to the fact that they inflicted mass-murder on Armenians, as well as on the Balkan Slavs (Serbs and Bulgarians), and the fact that the American ambassador got in trouble doesn't surprise also because of the judeo-centric Holocaust Industry's vision of history. The Armenian genocide, amongst other genocides, destroys the Jewish propaganda theory that the Holocaust was a unique event in history.
