No, but having quickly looked at the site, it has a US office and a physical address and phone number, so you can check to see if it is legit.
Only negative point, I was unable to get the prices; lots of waffle but no cold hard facts until you sign up.
Try bride.ru or freepersonals.ru if you want a free (ish) site.

Their best package was like $80 for a month. I figured that with all the attention I 'm getting I can settle in with several and let the membership lapse once I start direct contact with some of them. I want to start plans to go over this Summer and appreciate all the info I've found about that here.

$80 for one month is pretty steep!!! but if this allows you to send unlimited letters and exchange personal contact info in your e-mails, then I would send out thousands of letters to anyone who is remotely of interest to you get their e-mail addresses as soon as possible and then quit this site, and communicate with these women outside of fiance.com

GG
bride.ru is not truly free any more, there are only a very few "free woman profiles" on this site, and if you just use there free membership you cannot write to the women, so you have to upgrade to either a "silver" or "gold" membership. There top of the line "Gold Membership" which will allow you to write any women has various lengths to their membership with a 12 month membership costing $400
Just and FYI

GG, thr bridue.ru site does not give a lot of info, they have a very limited FAQ or questions about corresponding this is what I found on their site today
per Bride.ru
FREE AREA(1439 profiles)---------everyone can contact any ladyfrom this area for free,
but only e-mail address are available for most ladies.
to get direct phone numbers
you need to buy silver or gold membership
Silver membership (18283 profiles)------ Only silver and gold members can contact ladies from this area.
Emails, mailing addresses and phone numbers
available for them in most cases
Gold Membership (13830 profiles)------This area is for Gold members exculsively. Emails, mailing addresses and phone numbers are
available.
GG from what you are saying you just posted a "Free Profile" that the ladies contacted you regardless of if they lady is listed in the silver or gold membership and you were able to correspond with them for free? Please go into a little more detail.

Hello everyone,
I have only been on a couple of days now. And from posts like GG, Chili, mopar and some others, have really clarified some things for me, thanks.
I have been talking to 2 ladies in Ukraine. One, I caught using some model's pic's. The other as time goes on seems too good to be true. She is sweet, maybe too sweet. The pic's are like Lexus or Viper caliber. She writes everyday, but yet she has No Phone ??? I am just wondering if or when big hairy Boris is going to jump out. What is the main photo ID over there ??? :dontknow:

As you can tell do not "fall in love with profile pics" a lot of them have been photoshop enhanced. Also the best rule of thumb is 'never send money' there are situations where it is Ok for a person to send money (maybe 50-100 for internet connection) but this is only after you have established a good relationship, so it is just best to think "do not send money", and ask questions first on RMP before you do something like that you will get some good input to help you determine the best way for you to procede.
Regarding a woman having 'no phone' possible red flag but please give more info becuase
1) if you have asked her for this information in the 1st or 2nd letter, she may not yet be comfortable with giving you this info
2) if you have been communicating with her for a couple of months and she states she has no phone she more than like is one of the following
a) you are communicating with her thru an agency and the letters are being written by the agency and not the woman, so they do not want to give out the phone number
b) you are writing to her thru an agency that requires their woman to respond to all letters whether she is interested or not
c) a "Hairy Yuri" scammer and soon will be asking for money or
d) is a real woman and does not feel serious about you and is writing to you in case the man she really likes disappears on her and you are her back-up plan
Their are not many woman who do not have a phone and almost all of them now have cell phones as well. Usually if the woman does not want to give you her phone number, it usaully is not a good sign, the main exception being if you are asking really earlier in communication and this particular woman is uncomfortable in giving out this info at this time.
Can I ask where did you see the woman's profile, what site?
Edit: just realized this thread is about Fiance.com, so let me ask my prevoius qestion again, are you contacting the lady thru Fiance.com?

To Chillidog and GG,
Let me see if I can help to clarify the situation you two are discussing with regards to Bride.ru. One is saying it is free, another is saying it cost money. Your both correct.
I last used Bride.ru a few months ago so things could have changed. I will sign-up for another months membership in the next few weeks as this is a pretty good source to help compliment any trip. I will usually sign-up for a months membership five weeks before any upcoming trip. This will cost me $49.95. Now if you are a first time user it will cost $99.95 because of the one time $50 sign-up fee.
You are only signing up for the Gold membership ladies because the silver ladies are now part of the free ladies. But to get a free address from a lady in the silver membership you have to send an e-mail request with her ID number. And you are limited to how many free addresses you can get in a day.
With the Gold membership you can get all the silver membership information yourself but you are limited to a maximum of 30 Gold or Silver addresses per day.

Hi Dimitri, Elenas is a reliable site, there is the odd scammer lurking on there, but most of them do not last long before they are kicked off.
ALL sites can be infiltrated by scammers, but some seem to be RUN by scammers!! IF the site does not allow you access to a woman's email address, or does not allow you to give her your email address, stay away, the same if they say you have to spend "X" amount before they will give you her details; they are scam sites and are only interested in your money!!
I have had good results from Elenas, Bride.ru, and FreeRussianPersonals; I have been conned by CindyAgency and Anastasia.
Rule of thumb; if they mention money, or say that they want to come to you, not you go to them, RUN!!
Read up on threads about the various scams, money, holidays, gifts and green cards; although the last one will not affect you; and be aware of them when you write.
If you have ANY suspicions, investigate, I had bad feelings about one woman, so I googled a memorable part of her letter, and there it was listed on a scammer blacklist website!!
Ask questions and make sure they get answered, if they do not, be suspicious!!
NEVER SEND MONEY!!

Appreciate the info. What about the site agencyscams.net and agencyscams.com? I was hoping Elenas was legit as I have been corresponding with a few ladies there and have their emails and telephone numbers as well as a few addresses.
I will try the other sites you mentioned.
Kind regards

Every site has scammers, you can't get away from them. They are usually easy to spot and don't hang around long. If you ask for their phone number or address and they balk, odds are they are probably a scammer.
Other sites I've used and I think are good,
www.freepersonals.ru
www.allsinglerussiangirls.com
I found my wife on free personnals.
www.cuteonly.com looks good too but I've never tried them.
Good luck!

Dmitri,
what you post here would lead me to beleive the women you are communicating with are "legit" and are motivated in finding a partner for themselves.
It is a good sign that they are legit if they are willing to give you their phone numbers and other ways of contacting them. I would call them on the phone if you have not already.
This will help immeadiatly in weeding out the scammers and also help in determining if you feel any connection with a lady.
just remember if they start talking/asking about money this is RED FLAG SIGN #1 that they are potential scammers (and remember the scammers are 90% of the time NOT women, they are men possing as the women you are communicating with)
I would avoid any website that asks you to "pay-per-email" and look for sites that will allow the exchange of personal contact info

I too did not have any correspondence with any women when I used freepersonals.com probably sent 20 intro letters and did not even recieve 1 reply in return.
The sites that I have had success on were
cuteonly.com and most recently RussianEuro.com where I will meeting a woman in September who I hope will be the "one"
Fiance'.com who this OP is about, I never used but it does let you send unlimited emails and exchange personal information, so in my book this makes it a site worth checking out,
but no matter what site you use, just keep your eyes open for potential scammers, no site I think can state they are 100% scammer free.

Hey Chilli,
I haven't been around for awhile only to come back and see that you are meeting a woman in September. That's super! I hope it goes well.
I had no response at all on freepersonals and I usually get a lot of activity no matter the site/agency. I do like RussianEuro, lots of good responses there.
The sites where I have had the most success are:
Elena's Models
Russian Euro
China Love
Merry Dating
My Foreign Bride - LOTS of scammers here
I got a few responses from allsinglesrussiangirls and fiance.com but had more than enough to choose from and never got around to responding to anyone.
I also have a profile on a russian only site where scammers are pretty scarce. The only problem was most of the women who responded to my profile were usually expatriates living outside of of the CIS. Very nice but usually VERY westernized and not my cup of tea.

gfi,
things are going very well,
I found her on RussianEuro, only did a 3 month with them ($60 USD for the 3 months) and have no need to renew with them (she has a computer in her home) so we just send emails to each persons personal addy, and talk on the phone 1-3 times a week depending on her work (she is 12 hours ahead of me in time).
I was also thinking of using allsinglerussian and or Fiance, but Miss Omsk popped up on the radar pretty quick and have never looked back. I Briefly flirted with Elena's back in 2006 (but found the one I visited back then on Cuteonly) and have never tried the other's you mention
To be honest with you hoping I never will (certainly not because they are bad sites, but becuase I am hoping that I have dotted all my i's and crossed all my t's with Miss Omsk)

I think the trick to finding a girl on free sites, or all sites for that matter, is to only write to ones that have logged on in the last 2 weeks. These are the girls that would be more interested in meeting a foreign man ... unless of course they just signed up for curiosity.
I wrote to my wife on free personals the day after she registered and the rest is history!

Hi folks. I have joined quite a few sites mentioned here and have a detailed profile of myself, yet, I have received 1 email in the since joining and that was a person who I was not interested in. What is the average waiting period you guys had to wait before you could make a decision (average time). I am not looking for fast miracles, but at this pace, I might as well go and pitch a tent at the South Pole and look at penguins

I used Fiance.com, I used the package for $50/month, unlimited e-mails to any girls. The site also has a web-translator built in when you send e-mails.
Read about it on my thread:
Agency Reviews: Elena's, Cindy's AnnaBarmina & Fiance.com (http://www.russianmeetingplace.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16850)
I had reasonable success with it, I wrote to 12 girls, I got an answer from 5, 3 positive, 1 negative and one had already found someone.
Of the 3 I wrote & phoned 2 of the girls, they sent me some pics, but things had already worked out so well with one girl on AnnaBarmina that I never got around to meeting them

I got 4 replys from 12 from Fiance.com within 2 weeks. 2 positive 2 neg.
I got 3 replys from 7 on Anna Barmina in 2 weeks, and 2 more within 6 weeks. 3 positive, 2 negative. {I met 2 girls in person}
I sent 10 EOI's on Elena'a, I think it was 6 positive & 2 negative responces. Also met 2 in person.
At Cindy's I got many letters from girls, I wrote to 4, all positive and all within 5 days.
One wrote 4 letters then disappeared.
Second one I realized was not a good match after 2 letters
Third one I also met in person & turned out to be a GTG

Hi Easy. I have sent over 40 emails. Maybe I am doing something wrong.
That isn't really that many emails. I am assuming you have posted your best photos on your profile. No photos == no responses. Unless you write an exceptionally witty email in Russian.
I don't the content of your introduction email, but one of the things that women hate is when they get an email that isn't personalized to them, or even worst, meant for someone else.
For an introduction email, you don't have to write a novel, but definitely comment on something from their profile. i.e., I see you are a teacher, what do you teach? what age of students? At least she will know you didn't just look at her big breasts and decide to fire the same old email.
You should get at least a 10% response rate. Even if the response is just 2 or 3 lines. If you are from SA you might a much lower response rate, because women may view SA as a less desirable country to immigrate too, vs Western Europe or North America.
If you want to open a big can of worms you can always post your introduction email here; and let everyone comment. Or send a PM to a few members and they can comment privately. I am not expert but if I see something glaringly wrong...I could point it out.
Either way best of luck mate.
